The History of the Hispanic Festival, Inc.

Celebrating 29 years of culture in St. Louis

Founded by Haniny Hillberg, a native Bolivian and passionate advocate for the Hispanic community, the festival has proudly celebrated Hispanic culture in St. Louis for over 29 years. The first festival was held in 1996 with just $500 and a one-day gathering in Faust Park.

Over the years, Hispanic Festival, Inc. has grown into one of the largest cultural celebrations in the region, amplifying the voices of local Hispanic-owned businesses, cultural organizations, and nonprofits.

Giving Back to the Community

Our Commitment with St. Louis

At Hispanic Festival, Inc., we are dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. Through our events, we raise funds to provide scholarships for Hispanic students pursuing higher education. Additionally, we create opportunities for underprivileged children, helping to build a brighter future for the next generation. Last year, we proudly awarded over $8,000 in scholarships, empowering deserving students to achieve their academic goals.
