Dear Vendor:

The Hispanic Festival Inc. would like to invite you to participate in our 2008 Hispanic festivals held in Florissant and in downtown St. Louis.   Please complete and submit the enclosed applications and money for the events by March 31.  In addition, please include 3 self-addressed, stamped legal size envelopes or your applications will be returned!

The first scheduled festival is the Cinco de Mayo, to be held at Eagen Civic Center in Florissant, May 2 & 3 .This event will take place in conjunction with Florissant’s Valley of the Flowers Festival, and that will guarantee crowds of 5000 plus.  There will be a mandatory vendors meeting on Thursday, April 3, 6:30 at Summit Distributing, 3201 Rider Trail South, Earth City, MO.  (From 70, exit Earth City Expressway north, then turn right on Rider Trail South and Summit Distributing will be on your left.

The second scheduled festival is the Fiesta in Florissant, and will be held June 21 and 22 at the Knights of Columbus Park (near corner of Lindbergh and Washington).  A mandatory vendors meeting will be held Thursday at 6:30 on June 5 at Summit Distributing,

The third scheduled festival is our biggest, the Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival.  This event will take place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, September 5, 6, & 7 in downtown St. Louis.  The mandatory vendors meeting for this festival will be held Thurs., August 7 at 6:30pm at Summit Distributing.

PLEASE NOTE; for all festivals, vendors are responsible for their own 10 X 10 tents (must include four sides), tables and chairs.  Vendors must also decorate their booths for all festivals with a Hispanic 
theme.

Food vendors cooking with propane are responsible for obtaining their own permit from the City Fire Marshall for the Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival.  Please take care of this ahead of time because you will not be allowed to operate without one.

Also, like last year, there will be a $50 refundable cleaning deposit required of all vendors who participate in the Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival downtown.  Last year many vendors again left their space dirty and the committee had to spend extra time cleaning up in order to recover their deposit from the city.
